Text by Eva Volpi
On the second day of New York Fashion Week, Clavin Klein presented its Fall-Winter 2017 Collection,
inspired by American multicultural environnement.
The brand latest collection is all about different styles, cultures and designs,
so this is why Clavin Klein's Fall 2017 line features contrasting pieces that drew inspiration from the american kaleidoscopic scenario.
Raf Simons created a collection rich in eclectic lines and textures, including pieces such as:
workwear shirts paired with multicolored high-waist trousers, feathered midi dresses covered in plastic,
sweaters with puffy sleeves and see-through details, boxy jackets, bright yellow fur coat
and lots of floral vintage inspired pieces.
About Fall-Winter 2017 collection, Chief Creative Officer of Calvin Klein,
Raf Simons declared:
“It reflects the environment. All of these different people with different styles and dress codes. It’s the future, the past, Art Deco, the city, the American West…all of these things and none of these things.”
